2008 – 2010 Learning Center Assistant/Psychology Instructor Blinn College Brenham TX
Provided one-on-one tutoring to students on a walk-in basis or through referrals from faculty. Conducted
regularly scheduled tutoring sessions with small groups of at-risk students or students who felt help was
needed in certain areas. Proctored tests for distance learning, provided ADA special accommodations,
and make-up exams. Taught 3 classes each semester of Introduction to Psychology to freshman at a
junior college. More than 90% of students attending Blinn live on campus.
2007 - 2008 College Instructor Park University Austin, TX
Taught undergraduate sociology to mostly adult students at Park University. Students tended to have
families and full time jobs or were in the military.

Contracted with RRISD Special Education Department to perform student psycho-education Evaluations
for determination of handicapping conditions and eligibility for Special Education services. Provided
written report of results a required by Texas Education Agency (TEA) and recommendations for
instructional/behavior/emotional, support necessary for education progress. In addition, provided
counseling to Emotionally Disturbed secondary student on a separate campus, affording a more restrictive
environment.
1996 -1998 LSSP Lake Travis ISD (LTISD) Austin, TX
Evaluated LTHS students for handicapping conditions and eligibility for special education, ensuring services
for the high school complied with TEA Rules and Regulations. Responsible for assessment of secondary
students for emotional disturbance and providing written reports detailing results and recommendations to
the ARD Committee, supervised TSU School Psychology Interns, consulted with teachers, parents,
administrators, and other support personnel and agencies in developing student Individual Education Plans
(IEP), and counseled students attending the Alternative Learning Center.
1992-1997 Associate School Psychologist RRISD RR, TX
Assessment and consultation with teachers, administrators, parents, and other relevant agencies or
professionals in providing support for students eligible for or receiving Special Education services at RRHS.
Counseled students and families and ensured that Special Education services and records at RRHS were in
