3. Abstract
Education is an important and traditional part of society. As time has progressed
education as also changed from traditional one. So according to the progress of
education level. It also required changing the way of maintaining the student
study materials, exam results and academic notices.
The “CollegeSpace” system is web application base system. The system contains
the various information such as exam results, academic notices, student materials
like eBooks, teacher’s notes, recommended books, syllabus, class timetable etc.

Introduction:
This project titled "CollegeSpace" is designed mainly to manage all activities like
academic posts, exam results, syllabus, timetables, eBooks, old question papers,
textbooks, and teacher's notes. Our system will provide everything that is
necessary to the students during the four years of college.
So this system can help all the students of our college to make their study easier
and faster. We aim to make the life of every OICian simpler & turn these four
years into a smoother ride.
Problem Identification:
The existing system which we are using in our college is a traditional process is
a completely manual process. Students are facing many problems getting their
study materials, exam results, routines, and event notices. To get this information
they must visit either the college or search on several Facebook posts. So we are
building a system where the student can get all the information that they need for
studying.
Project Scope:
Study material:
Through this service student of our college can access the complete information
about the different study materials such as eBooks, teacher’s notes, textbooks,
syllabus, class routine etc. and also can download them.
Exam Routines and Results:
Student can get their exam routines, board exam results, terminal exam results
from our system.
Academic news:
Many tech programs, seminars happens in our college but lack of notices of those
programs student can not able to attend them so our system provide information
related those events.

Objectives of Project:
• The main objective of developing the project entitled “CollegeSpace” is to
build an effective system that is fast, easy, consistent, reliable, and flexible
enough so that it can incorporate any future enhancements.
• By automating the system using computers, sophisticated technology can
be used for making the information more flexible, accurate, and secure, and
user friendly.
• Time and manpower can be more effectively utilized and online
information can be easily available to the user and at the same time, we can
maintain security.
• Every student can be able to see the information online from anywhere and
anytime.
Project Feasibility study:
A feasibility study is an analysis that takes all of a project's relevant factors into
account, including economic, technical, legal, and scheduling considerations.
Regarding the feasibility study of our project (College Management System) is
mention below:
Economic Feasibility:
There was a low(zero) cost factor in collecting resources. Also, we can do this
project from home so, there was no cost in hardware resources. We use free
resources available on the internet. The software we use was open source. And
due to this, we did this project with zero investment. But it took some time to
complete this task.
Technical Feasibility:
We were able to use all the software that is required in this project. We studied
the complete functionality to be provided in this system and checked if everything
was possible using a different type of frontend and backend tools.

Operational Feasibility:
Our project plan satisfies the requirements identified in the requirements' analysis
phase of system development. And also have an easy and simple interface, so it
is user-friendly.
Scheduling Feasibility:
While doing this project we invested our certain time but as our project was
completed at time, so our project is success; after all, a project will fail if not
completed at given amount of time.

Fora project planning, we performed the following steps-
Selecting a project:
At first, we selected a projecttitle identifying its aims and objectives, understanding
why this system is required.
Research:
Then a research related to the topic was done.
Projectestimates:
The required time for the completion of the project was estimated. The length of
codeand the required cost was also estimated.
Tools selection:
The required tools for coding were also selected.
Conclusion:
Therefore, this project is designed keeping in view the day-to-day problems faced
by the students of our college. We hope that our system will certainly help the
students to reduce unnecessary wastage of time in personally going to each
department for some information.
