Built upon foundations in architecture, design, the Web, marketing communications, integrative medicine and business, she developed and managed a unique community of care for her daughter, Sophia, who lived with a rare genetic disease. Inspired by that extraordinary experience, Karen has since been dedicated to improving quality of life by catalyzing innovations in education, the arts, technology and health.
