8. Vedanta finalizes consortium of banks to fund

Finalized a consortium of banks which will fund upto $6
billion of debt.
Standard Chartered Bank is the lead arranger for the loan
and will be funding upto $2 billion as part of the
consortium.
The loan will be a combination of short-term and long-
term financing.
Raise bridge loans of upto $2.5 billion which will have a
tenure of between 12-18 months. The remaining $3.5
billion will be long-term loans with a tenure of 5-7 years.
Company is planning to list its Zambian Konkola Copper
Mines division on the London Stock Exchange.
