8. Acquisitions of tata motor
In 2004 Tata Motors acquired Daewoo's truck manufacturing unit,
now known as Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle, in South Korea
In 2005, Tata Motors acquired 21% of Aragonese Hispano Carrocera
giving it controlling rights of the company.
In 2007, Formed a joint venture with Marcopolo of Brazil and introduced
low-floor buses in the Indian Market.
In 2008, tata Motor acquired the two iconic British brands
i.e. Jaguar Land Rover.
In 2010, Tata Motors acquired 80% stake in Italy-based design and
engineering company Trilix for a consideration of €1.85 million
