5 Ways to save you and you’re Home from Hot
Summer????
How to Reduce Body Heat Quickly??
 Drink normal or warm water more to avoid dehydrated.
 Take hydrated foods regularly on summer days.
 Eat plenty of foods high in water content. Like Lemon,
Cocoanut water, Buttermilk Fruits such as Orange,
watermelon, and strawberries. Try eating lots
of vegetables such as celery, cucumber, and cauliflower.
 Wear loose, lightly colour clothing in natural fabrics such as
cotton.
 Avoid work on midday of summer days.
1. How the Colours can be Reduce Heat??
Black is the ultimate heat absorber. It absorbs all light on the visual spectrum,
creating a void of light. As a result of absorbing all light wavelengths, black is
the hottest possible colour. White is the opposite. White light is the sum of all
wavelengths, so when some people view a white object, they are really viewing
all visible light hitting the object's surface and reflecting back. Some heat is still
absorbed based on the nature of the object's material, but minimal additional
heat is absorbed, making white the coolest possible colour.
So light colours always are good for Interior and Exterior Homes, Offices
Hospitals, Hotels, Educational institutions, Commercial Complexes etc...

2. How To Reduce the Heat Using Cool Coat??.
Cost: Pricing: 25/-to 45/- Sq feet
What Are Roof Coatings? Roof coatings are designed for protecting and
extending the useful service life of roof assemblies for new construction
and Old Buildings more commonly
Roof coatings are thicker than paint and have higher solids content. Roof
coatings are formulated to protect roofs from the damaging effects of
weather and the environment, such as UV light, and excessive water and
wind. They are formulated to provide protection for many years and are also
extremely elastic
Roof coatings work as waterproofing and weather coatings allows the roof
coating to bridge small cracks and membrane seams found on roofs.
Today, there are various types of roof coatings on the market that can
benefit any type of roof.
The most common types of roof coatings are acrylic coatings, asphalt
coatings, polyurethane coatings, and silicone coatings.
What is Cool or Heat Coat? Cool paint is one of the mitigation technologies
used to reduce cooling loads in buildings. It is a passive building energy
saving solution, which helps to lower surface temperatures of. Benefits of
cool paint include energy savings, improved thermal comfort, mitigating the
UHI effect and potentially cooling
For cool surface coatings, the two main types (cementitous and elastomeric)
differ in terms of their composition. Cementitous coatings contain cement
particles while elastomeric coatings contain polymers Some of the possible
polymers used are acrylic, silicone and urethane, with acrylic being the most
common in elastomeric coatings Typically, cool paint adheres easily to the
roof substrate, is durable, weather-resistant, and has some degree of anti-
fungal, anti-algal and ‘self-washing’ ability, which allows it to shed dirt from
the surface under normal rainfall. As compared to cementitous coatings,
elastomeric coatings perform much better in terms of adhesion and
durability5
due to its elastic properties, which give it its “rubber-like”
flexibility. This allows the coating to stretch and contract in the heat without
damage

How Roof Coatings Reduce Urban Heat Island Effect
On a typical summer afternoon, a clean white roof that reflects 80% of
sunlight will stay about 55°F cooler than a gray roof that reflects only 20% of
sunlight. Likewise, a cool-colour roof that reflects 35% of sunlight will stay
about 22°F cooler than a traditional roof that looks the same but reflects
only 10% of sunlight
Advantages
Energy Savings high solar reflectance
and infrared emissivity properties
result in less heat penetrating the
building envelope thus reducing
energy consumption
Extended Roof Service Life higher
temperatures can accelerate material
degradation, by maintaining roof
surfaces at lower average
temperatures, it could, in principle,
slow down heat-related degradation
Global Cooling Potential indoor
thermal comfort for occupants is
improved by lowering temperatures
within the building and decreasing
the hours of discomfort
Disadvantages
Degradation and Fungus forming due
to Moister
winter, this reduction in heat
penetration becomes a drawback as
desirable heat is reflected away
After rainfall due to an insufficient
slope or drain blockage, in which
water accumulates in pools on the
roof; moisture in indoor air to
condense within roof, Seepage
,Dampness

Asphalt Roofing’s
Canvas Roofing’s
Advantages
1. Easy installations
2. Light weight
3. Storing and Long Life
4. Corrosion Resistant
5. Energy Saving
6. Environment Friendly
7. Aesthetics
Disadvantages
1. Expensive
2. Noise while Heavy Rain & Air
3. Damages Cause Heavy wind it’s
damage property including
human
4. Damages Cause During
Installations it may cause
seepage of your building

4. Curtains & Windows
Cost: Pricing: 50/-to 350/- Sq feet
Unwanted heat mainly enters the house through windows and
investing in shades, curtains can help lower indoor temperature
vastly.
Invest in breathable curtains like cotton, sheers, jute screens or
bamboo shades. Dark synthetic drapes aren’t advisable in summer.
Instead, choose white or pastel colours that are made of light and
airy material.
Open windows strategically enable cross ventilation. The best time
to make the most of the breeze is from 5 am to 8 am and 8 pm to
10 pm. At these times the air is pleasantly cool and by opening up
windows, a natural breeze can be created that keeps the indoors
cool. Since temperatures drop during summer, make sure you keep
the windows open especially at night to let the cool breeze in.

5.C00l ROOF TILES
Cost: Pricing: 70/-to 150/- Sq feet
What are Cool Roof Tiles?
Cool Roof tiles are the perfect addition to any structure if you are looking to
save on energy costs. Each tile has properties that strongly reflect sunlight
instead of converting it into heat. In addition, instead of absorbing that heat
and transferring it down from the roof deck into the structure, Cool Roof
tiles release the heat faster for greater energy efficiency. This process is
similar to wearing lighter colors in the warm summer months and darker
colours in cooler seasons.
What are the benefits?
As stated before, a Cool Roof helps maintain lower roof temperatures, which
mean less energy being used. On average a Cool Roof can earn a property
owner 7%-15%* in total cooling cost savings over time.* Consumers can also
get rebates and incentives depending on their state’s or local municipality’s
laws. Another neat thing about Cool Roof tiles is that they have
environmental benefits that can reduce global warming effects, urban heat
island effects, smog, and the production of CO2.
In addition to the above, Cool Roofs can help:
 Reduce your utility bills associated with air conditioning
 Decrease the size and prolong the life of your air conditioning system
 Lower roof maintenance costs and extend the life of the roof, thus
avoiding reroofing costs and reducing solid waste
 Assist your home in meeting building codes
