2. K2 METAL BOND is a two-part, fast-
acting epoxy glue for connecting metals
of industrial endurance. The epoxy
resin and hardener harden like steel
after mixing. After complete hardening,
the surface can be drilled, threaded,
grounded, and worked with a file.

4(1) Preparing the surface – clean, dry and degrease elements to be treated.
(2/3) Preparing the epoxy – squeeze a similar amount of both components from the tubes.
The resin (yellow tube) has a light gray colour, the hardener (green tube) – black.
(4) Mix both components with each other to reach uniform, dark gray mixture, ready for use.
Attention! Product at room temperature binds in a couple of minutes, so such an amount of
mixture should be prepared, so as to use it in that time and not allow for drying. The speed
of binding of the glue depends on the temperature of the surroundings – at low
temperatures the glue binds slower, at higher temperatures – quicker.

Apply an appropriate amount of glue to the element and squeeze. (5) In case of gluing
flat surfaces it is enough to apply glue to only one surface. (6) The process of gluing
doesn't require constant squeezing of the elements. (7) Both surfacecs should be
connected, squeezed, the excess of glue should be removed, and the elements should be
left to dry.

5. The glue hardens in a couple minutes (usually around 4 minutes). This time depends on
the temperature of the surroundings. After hardening the weld may be subject to further
treatment, e.g. grinding, drilling, painting.
