To say that the star wars movies were a big hit would be an understatement. All of the major characters
from these movies are highly recognizable. For this reason they make great costumes. The only problem
is that some of these characters do not translate into good Halloween costumes.
Unless you are 7 feet tall, a Chewbacca costume does not really look that good. Luke Skywalker and Han
solo were great characters, but because their costumes would not have a mask it might be difficult to tell
what costume you are wearing. Princess Leia costumes work well, that they would only work for the fairer
half of the population. Darth Vader looks good but it has been done before. A stormtrooper costume might
be your best bet for something that is unique and recognizable.
A stormtrooper costume can work well for both children and adults. It is fun to get costumes where the
entire family can fit into a theme but it is hard to find costumes like that. With the stormtrooper costume
you can either dress up other members of the family as other Star Wars characters or you can go as a
group of stormtroopers.
When it comes to getting a costume for Halloween or for a costume party it is hard to decide whether to
make one or to buy one. It is often said that you get when you pay for so if you try to save some money
and make one by yourself it will probably look like you did just that. Without spending too much money
you can get a stormtrooper costume that looks really good.
A good costume is something that you will probably wear many times. Most people, when they are invited
to a costume party to go search through a box of costumes that they have stored somewhere in the house
and use that to go to a party. Unless you have an old vampire costume for something like that you might
end up using the old bed sheet ghost costume. Would it not be better if that box contained a stormtrooper
costume?
If you're on the fence about it, go ahead and get yourself or your kids a good stormtrooper costume.
Halloween trick or treating and costume parties are supposed to be fun, and the best thing about them is
dressing up. If you have a costume like this you will be excited about getting dressed up and showing the
costume to your friends. If you are answering the door this Halloween and handing out candy, you can
make kids giggle with delight from getting candy from a stormtrooper. Also, many costume parties have a
best costume contest and with this one you might just finally win.
