  5. 5. Some amount of stress is healthy for all Its called Positive stress or Eustress. When you perceive a stressful situation as an opportunity that will lead to a good outcome.” Stress can lead you to accomplish your goals and allow you to be successful.
  6. 6. When your stress levels exceeds the threshold levels it will lead to Negative stress or Distress. Negative stress is usually the outcome of a poor attitude towards a stressor (being reactive), poor time management practices, and failing to prioritise one’s activities
  7. 7. How to manage stress? Practice Yoga Meditate Healthy diet Get enough sleep Prioritize tasks
  8. 8. Modern ways of dealing with stress Dance Hang out with friends Laugh Play outdoor games Listen to soft music
  9. 9. Activity “How heavy do you think this glass of water is?” 20 g or maybe 40g?
  10. 10. If I hold it for a minute, it is OK.. If I hold it for an hour, I will have an ache in my right arm If I hold it for a day, you will have to call an ambulance. It is the exact same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, we will not be able to carry on, the burden becoming increasingly heavier. What you have to do is to put the glass down, rest for a while before holding it up again. We have to put down the burden periodically, so that we can be refreshed and are able to carry on.
