1. PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT
Our project “Castles on the Danube – Our Linking Heritage” was presented to the
school staff on the Teachers’ board by coordinator of the project on 16th April 2018, to
the School board by Head teacher on 14th November 2019 and 27th December 2019,
and to the Parents Board on 18th September 2019. Teachers, parents and School
board welcome the idea of starting this project.
The project is also presented on the school website

2. 2. CHOOSING OF A TEAM
Members of our project team are (septembar 2018.):
Jelena Volarov – head-teacher, Aleksandra Mišić – assistant head-teacher, Jelena
Biga, Jasmina Janković, Lidija Mitić – teachers and Vesna Gošović – librarian.
The team meets to discuss all the issues concerning the project.
3. CREATION OF THE FACEBOOK GROUP
Serbia got the task to create Facebook group and the task was completed on19th
August 2018 as the group for communication of all the teachers involved in the
project (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1893448124291147/) and, afterwards, on 21st
Decembre 2018 the public page (https://www.facebook.com/castlesondanube/) was
created. In addition, during the meeting in Vienna, it was agreed that there should be
created one more Facebook group for students involved in the project
(https://www.facebook.com/groups/2347261128700032/) and the task was completed on
2nd June 2019.
Instagram page was created in Decembre 2018 (castlesdanube729).
4. CHOOSING OF A PROJECT LOGO
Serbian proposal for the project logo was chosen among dosens of students’ works.

6. 8. PARTICIPATION IN THE DANUBE DAY 29.6.2019.
On 29th June 2019 there was an exhibition on the role and importance of the Danube
for the region and Belgrade.

9. CONDUCTED TRAININGS
The first training was conducted in Osijek by VAEV team – Online tools training
(Skype, Survey Monkey, Quizlet, Doodle, How to use properly google calendar)
7. 10. OTHER ACTIVITIES
On 30th November 2018 a lecture on the river Danube and its role in the literature of
Hans Christian Andersen was presented both to the teachers and interested
students. The lecture was given by Biljana Stojčić, Zemun Grammar School teacher.
8. On 24th December 2018 training on E-twinning was conducted by one of the
teachers of our school.
10. 1. Please provide an overall state of play of your project: what are the achievements of the
project at this stage? Are the initial project activities and objectives being carried out and
reached so far?
Activities planned up to now have mostly been carried out.
2. Please describe further in details the project activities supported by the grant for Project
Management and Implementation that have been carried out until now.
Instagram and Facebook pages were created, as well as webpage and logo of the project.
Teams had two meetings, school corners were set up, surveys on mobilities were conducted
and the statements to the media were given in Croatia, but not in Austria.
The students gathered information about the castles and made presentations and posters on
the architectural style of the castle which were presented on the second mobility. In addition,
models of the castles were made as part of the “Learning by Doing” training for students.
Videoconferences and pen pal activities were not started, as well as forum on E-twinning,
although it has been created by Croatian partners.
Teacher training “Learning by Doing” for teachers was not conducted by Austrian partners
and it is planned for the third mobility. During the first mobility Austrian team educated the
teachers on online tools.
3. How is the monitoring of the project being carried out so far and by whom?
Bulgaria as the leading coordinator is in charge for the overall monitoring.
At each partner school there is an administrator in charge of the project finances.
Project coordinator in each school is in charge for arranging the meetings and responsible for
all the activities planned in the project. School coordinator and the school management are in
charge of presenting all the stages of the project to the school staff, Schoolboard and parents.
Monitoring of the project has successfully been carried out.
4. How did the project partners contribute to the project so far? Has the distribution of tasks
been adjusted since the application stage?
Project partners mostly contributed to the project as planned. There were several adjustments.
Teacher training “Learning by Doing” was not conducted by Austrian partners and it is
planned for the third mobility.
Slovakia, instead of Austria, is in charge of making calendars with pictures of the castles
through the seasons.
LLTA2 was organised by Austria, and not Hungary because Hungarian team was not
involved in the project. Their part of preparing and performing travelling photo exhibition of
the castles was not discussed.
5. If your project involves other organisations, not formally participating in the project, please
briefly describe their involvement.
11. 6. If relevant, please describe any difficulties you have encountered until now in managing
the implementation of the project and how you and your partners handle them.

Scan all invoices related to travel and accommodation during mobility.
Scan invoices to show what other expenses you have incurred for the project - materials
purchased, supplies, cameras, and more.
