2. DESIGN
Is every where. It
translates an idea into
something useful.
It combines and
manipulates different
types of media, such as
Text, Sound, Video,
Computer Graphics
and Animation.
Web Design and Animations
use designs as a means to
communicate, educate
and entertain.
Design aids in selling a product
or idea through effective visual
communication.
3. Web Design is the creation of web sites with
various computer software and development tools
A web site is a collection of files and related
resources accessible through the World Wide Web
and organized under a particular domain name
e.g. (.com or .net).
Typical files found at a Web site are HTML
documents with their associated graphic image
files (GIF, JPEG, etc.), scripted programs (in
Perl, CGI, Java, etc.), and similar resources. The
site's files are usually accessed through hypertext
or hyperlinks embedded in other files.
4. Two disciplines of Web Design
GRAPHIC DESIGN
ANIMATION
A creative and professional discipline which focus on

5. Process of giving the illusion of movement to drawings, models, or inanimate objects
using a computer programme. For example, the program currently used to display
this information to you can produce animation. The below icon is an example of
animation.

6. The Final Year Show is a production put on by final year Carimac students. It
entails a show case of finished products of designs produced by talented
multimedia students. The final products are based on the use of any soft
ware and techniques taught and or learnt over the duration. These soft
wares include Adobe Photo shop, Adobe After effects, Adobe Illustrator and
Final Cut.
These soft wares aid in the process of Designing. For example
Animation, Music videos, Graphic designing, Editing and Websites.
