Basically I spend most of my life in the
digital world, working with graphics,
motion and code … I like to call myself
a digital welder because this is what I
do …. weld together digital technologies
with the aim of making something
wonderful!
Born and raised in Leeds in the UK ,
after working as a graphic designer
Julie studied Computing at GLOSCAT
and has been a BAFTA member since
2000. In the early 90s after working for a
company developing operating systems
for the transputer processor Julie
became fascinated with the marriage of
technology and graphics/design. She set
up Arts Interactive in 1994 after training
with Macromedia in San Fransisco.

The Result
The BBCPA sets out to protect the interests of its members; BBC pensioners. They have a
strong, working relationship with the BBC and the BBC Pension Trust Ltd. They needed a
complete new overhaul of their existing website and a new user experience. The resulting
website has been very well received so far.

The Result
Rowan Dartington is an independent Wealth Management business that believes their
customers needs are paramount, and at the heart of everything they do do. Rowan
Dartington Signature is a specialist, independent, whole of market Discretionary Fund
Management business. They required a complete new design and user interface for their
group websites and brochures to match the new brand.

The Result
Every summer, from mid May to mid August, the Isle of Man is a basking shark hotspot,
having particularly high densities of basking sharks compared to elsewhere in the British
Isles. Manx Basking Shark Watch is committed to raising public awareness and research
into basking sharks. I produced a modern clean logo based on the sharks mouth and a
creative, easy to navigate website. The sightings and reporting scheme was given a new
lease of life with integration to google maps.

The Result
Sam has travelled extensively throughout Kenya, Cuba and India. The quality of her
work was rewarded with a semi-finalists position in the 2008 Wildlife Photographer of the
Year competition. Her most recent trip was to Spitzbergen, Svalbard to photograph the
endangered Polar Bear in their ever eroding natural habitat. Logo and branding, Website

The Result
Moore Stephens is a group of independent accounting and business advisory firms
based in the Isle of Man, one of the most reputable finance centres in the world. An
exciting project undertaken at MSIOM was the development of a set of Digital Publishing
brochures for tablet and iPAD.

The brief was to cencentrate on the
PokerStars VIP Store section of their
live site. I wanted to modernise the
whole Poker Stars site but keep the

The Result
Microgaming released the first true online casino software back in 1994. Since then
they have developed the hottest new games and smartest gaming management in the
world. We were delighted to have been involved in their launch event and provided a
sophisticated architectural projection on their office front, gobo lighting effects internally,
touch screen kiosks interface and design, and plasma screen animations and movies.

The Result
The site includes embedded flash streaming video, a comprehensive CMS system, online
shops and a subscription area with video streams.
The 2007/2008 Tesco 99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship is aimed at providing
a focused arena for up and coming talented drivers from around the UK, Ireland and
Europe. It comprises of six of the best events in the UK, including a round of the World
Rally Championship.
