8. Seagulls and pelicans are as close as the
Great Lakes . . . although this
arrangement might be more
reminiscent of Ventura Harbor in
southern California, where the Nolans
visited family members.
9. As long as the weather cooperates, this
goose flies in memory of Judy’s father,
who flew the same bird in his yard.
10. You’ll find every shape and size of
windcatcher twirling in the front yard,
reflecting the sunlight, too at different
times of the day.
12. Newly added to the front yard this year
is this lovely hummingbird trellis, gifted
by Mark and Lynn.
13. The overgrown plants and bushes in
front of the house were removed, and
the doorsteps will be repainted soon.
The flag? It always flies, not just during
the 4th of July.
14. It’s amazing how many colors you can
find in coleus plants. This is a close-up
of them from the back yard.
15. You’d expect a forest, not sedum, to
surround this little garden wolf. Sedum
comes in large and small flowering
varieties.
