The name of the king is Juan Carlos
de Borbón.
He was born in 1938. He was
proclaimed as king in 22nd­
November­1975, after Francisco
Franco´s death.

3. Thefamily´s tree
The king married the
queen Sofía.
They had three
children.
Now, his son, Felipe,
is the Prince and the
heir of the crown.

4. Problems and
experiences
He had many big problems in
Spain in 1981, when there was a
military coup´s attempt at
Parlament
The king avoided it.
He was a very good governor for
the Spanish people.

5. Nowadays
Now, the king´s health is very poor
because had some operations.
Walking on crutches the king told a joke.
He said “ the crutches have got a horn ”.
He´s a very good person and a very good
king. At christmas he has sent an
encouragemnet´s and hope message.
