Security Administration Analyst:
• Duties include Mainframe ACF2 account administration; creation, modification, deletion and auditing of ACF2 accounts.
• Responsible for Mainframe ACF2 resource rulesets based on discretionary access control.
• Administration of accounts in the Active Directory environment. Worked on process projects within this environment to
clarify and simplify access requests and fulfillment for both company employees and external consultants.
• Recognized with awards for efforts in the above projects.
• Responsible for providing administration for the central logging product, enVision.
Responsibilities included all aspects of product administration: account maintenance, resource maintenance, education,
problem determination, OS maintenance patch scheduling and application, product maintenance scheduling and
application.

- IP traffic Verification
• Provided support for the twice yearly Disaster Recovery exercises as a test coordinator at both the vendor site and the
remote site.
Manager Level 1 Host Networking & Customer Network Support-Corporate Network Support:
• Managed a 4-5 person staff that supported the mainframe communications environment including VTAM and TCPIP.
• Responsible for Administrative tasks for two groups. This included determining education, recording vacation, sick
compensation time, and monthly group status reports.
• Responsible for working with the members of two groups to determine individual goals and objectives for the coming year.
• Responsible for performance reviews for the individual group members.
• Mentored less experienced team members in mainframe communications
• Designed and headed up the TN3270 IP to the mainframe initiative. This encompassed all facets of the project such as
technical requirements document, training documentation for level one support groups, financial determination of product
offering, network security concerns, CICS concerns as well as network infrastructure issues.
• Performed initial remote testing at a customer site to demonstrate TN3270.
• Advised and assisted on the successful IP Printing initiative.
• Network Services representative for the Business Recovery Initiative – involved in the BRS design for Network Services
for SNA and TCPIP mainframe based connectivity.
• Worked the twice yearly Disaster Recovery exercises from the vendor site.
• Assisted in the design and set-up of TCPIP based communication for remote support of Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Worked closely with Disaster Recovery vendor to configure hardware resources required for testing and continuity.
• Assumed responsibility for re-establishing a Customer Network Support group.
2. • Responsible for 3 person staff that supported the Corporate DNS servers and Citrix servers. Group also had revenue-
generating responsibility for Customer Network Support. Responsible for billable break/fix issues on customer owned
resources running vendor-supported software.
• Responsible for filling vacancies within the CNS group. This included interviewing and hiring candidates (3).
• Created and implemented billing process; created job descriptions for Customer Network Services.
• Added Corporate DNS responsibilities to the CNS area / hired one individual internally.
• Worked on defining processes and procedures for the group.
• Worked with the marketing group to notify customers of the re- emergence of the CNS group’s services.
• Worked with Accounts Receivable on establishing the group’s billing procedures.
• Received (MVP) Performance award – May 2002.
• Attended IBM SHARE conferences. Met with IBM design representatives on a potential design flaw in the TN3270
definition that had the potential to result in a denial of service.
Group Leader Host Networking:
• Responsible for 4-5 person staff that supported the mainframe communications environment including VTAM, NCP and
TCPIP.
• Responsible for project management for the group. Allocating group personnel for projects.
• Responsible for cross department communications that involved Host Networking
• Continued working all responsibilities of a Senior Network Programmer Analyst.
Senior Network Programmer Analyst:
• Duties centered on support of the VTAM CMC network environment, including VTAM and NCP installation, definitions,
problem resolution, and twice yearly CMC network failover testing.
• Responsible for all phases of FEP hardware installation including but not limited to working with vendors on the ordering
and installation of the hardware.
• Insure that resources were balanced across the SNA network.
• Worked in support of Disaster Recovery exercises onsite at vendor recovery site
• Installation, support and customization of network software products, including education of network operators and
system/program dump reading, ASSEMBLER coding, JCL, IBM utilities, IDCAMS, SMP/E AND IBMIN.
• Responsible for upgrading and consolidating two different versions of a data transfer product (Connect:Direct) to the
newest level across three mainframe Sysplexes. Accomplished this with no customer impact. Received a Merit award for
this successful project.
