TASK ONE
You have to write about the life cycle of a pumpkin. You choose the format. Here you have some
indicators that may help you.
You have to distinguish clearly the different steps: Seed, ________,plant,_________,
__________________, orange pumpkin and __________.
You have to draw pictures that make the process clearer.
You have to write sentences for each one of the steps.
After talking about the life cycle, it would be great if you talk about how do we use pumpkins in
Halloween.
Here you have some words that may help you:
Verbs: to plant, to sprout, to grow, to grow up, to grow down, to appear, to blossom, to ripe, to rot.
CONNECTORS: first, then, after that, in that moment, finally….
You can also include a diagram.
TASK 2:
YOU are going to draw and write about how a tiny seed changes thoughout different seasons. You have
a chat but feel free to do it in a different format.
You need to draw clearly how weather affects to the seed in every seasons.
You have to use the right vocabulary. This list can help you:
Verbs: to blow, to go, to fly, to fall, to push, to settle down, to rain, to snow, to
shine.
Nouns: wind, sun, ground, trip, snow, bud,…
Adjectives: strong, high, low, lall, short, small, big, soft….
It´s raining, snowing, windy, sunny, hot, cold,….
TASK 3.
When you finish the experiment and there are some conclusions, you write a report about the results
and the conclusions using pictures to help you.
TASK 4.
In groups you make a book about Jack O´Lattern to tell to the classroom.
