2. Victorian Jobs
-Some jobs during Victorian, London were tanners. They
drenched raw hides in sweaty, lemon juice. Than they would
scrape the skin off. There were also pures that walked
around and scooped dog poop to sell to tannerâs baits.
-A great fear in London was to be sent to workhouses. In
workhouses, if you were not healthy you unraveled old tar
and rope. If you were healthy you broke rocks for street
foundations. At work houses you did not get paid. All you get
was a bed and occasionally some food.
3. Social Classes
- There are three classes they were the working class,
the middle class and upper class.
- The Middle Class and the Working Class were
mad because the Upper class came in after and
took control.
- The working class was full of skilled laborers.
-The social classes was based on the
personâs power, authority, wealth, working,
and living conditions, life-styles, life span,
education, religion, and culture.
