But first, you have to
equip yourself….

You choose your wand…

Now, you choose your pet…

A wise social media

Viola….. Hootsuite!

Post messages in your various
social media networks "
SIMULTANEOUSLY!

Track your brand and
analyze your traffic

Schedule you posts and tweets!

So you can relax more often and
have FUN!

Can you guess the other big names

Hootsuite?"

So, you’re in good company!

Now, let the MAGIC begin!

In your browser, type"
“hootsuite.com”

You will see the sign up page

Click “View Plans and Pricing”
to see your options

There’s a paid and free registration

Let’s try the FREE account and
click “Sign UP” free registration

Go ahead and fill in your details

Click “Create Account”

You will be asked to verify your account,
go ahead and check your email
Follow instructions, you will be asked to
click the link

You will be directed to your
Hootsuite account

Click “Add a Social Network”

Wait as it searches for social
networks

Click the social network that you
would like to add

You can add twitter, facebook,
linked in, or ALL!

For example, you want to add your
FB account, click “Facebook”

Then click “Submit”

Log in your FB account, then click
“Log IN”

It will search for your FB profile, FB
Pages, and FB Groups

Click on the right side of the tabs that
you would like to import from FB

Click “Finished Importing”

Tabs for your chosen FB account
will appear!

Click one tab…

And your FB wall will appear!

Neat huh?

Go ahead and add your other social
networks

You can also add your "
facebook pages

Simply click “Getting Started”

And this will appear!

Just give it a try, "
you can do it!

go back to slides # 35-40

Now, are you ready to rock it
and create posts?

Notice the two rectangular
boxes under the URL?

This is where you will put
your messages or posts.

Click on the space that says
“Compose message”

It will ZOOM IN and it will
look like this…

Type in your post or
message

Click on the space that says
“Click to select a profile”

This will appear…

Click on the social media where
you want to post the message

Click “Send now”

There it is in your wall!

Hootsuite has a lot in its bag
of tricks!

Here’s how you do it…

Let us compose a message

Type in your message

Click on the Calendar Icon

This is the Calendar Icon

A Calendar will appear

You can choose the DATE
for your message to appear

You can choose the TIME
for your message to appear

Did you know that you can
instruct Hootsuite to prompt
you when post appear?"
(so you can check!)

Click on the box “Email me
when message is sent”

Click “Schedule”

Goin’ on vacation? "
You can schedule your
messages for your fans!

So you can chill out!

Ready for another trick?

Would you like to monitor
your social media profile?

Adding Streams allow you
to monitor your profiles.

Click “Add Stream” at the top
portion of your dash board

This screen will appear…

Select your profile

Click “Create Stream”

Select your social media

Let’s try facebook

Go ahead, click “facebook”

This screen will appear

Now, choose the stream that
you would like to add

Let’s choose “News Feed –
Status Updates”

Go ahead and click “News
Feed – Status Updates”

You have added a stream on
News Feed – Status Updates!

Hootsuite is one
valuable tool!
