LEARNING ACTIVITY OUTLINE VIII 
(FEBRUARY 24 to MARCH 1, 2014) 
MUSIC EDUCATION VIII 
February 24, 2014 (MONDAY) 
Activity: “Let’s Go around in ASIA!” 
Focus: HUMANITIES IN ASIA 
Strategy: group activity, sharing 
Type: Individual and group 
Nature: Assessment 
Description: 
In this phase, the students demonstrate understanding in activating their prior knowledge on knowing 
some people and countries that belong in Asia through appreciating their culture. 
Procedure: 
1. Ask the president to give the report about wearing of complete uniform and the attendance. 
2. Mount some word on the board(places/countries in ASIA) 
3. Ask the student to identify the given words. 
4. Clarification will follow. 
5. Show to them what countries belongs to each continent given. 
6. Discussion will follow. 
Process Question: 
1. How do you find activity? 
2. Were you able to identify the country that belongs to Asia? 
3. Were you able to locate the Philippines? In what continent does it belongs? 
4. Were you able to identify the type of living in Asia? 
5. Do they have the same culture in our place? 
TUESDAY (FEBRUARY 25, 2014) 
ANNIVERSARY-EDSA REVOLUTION 
ACTIVITY: 
1. They will be facing their quadrant. 
2. Students are task to make a summary about the topic by using a concept map. 
3. After which, they are task to exchange their out-put to other quadrant and read their summary also. 
4. Each student should have a copy of each summary. 
PHYSICAL EDUCATION VIII 
February 26, 2014 (WEDNESDAY) 
Activity: “I am physically fit!” 
Focus: HEALTH RELATED PHYSICAL FITNESS 
Strategy: Group and individual 
Type: activity 
Nature: pre-assessment 
Description: 
This activity will check the prior knowledge of the student in demonstrating some activities that will 
improve their well-being and through understanding some components used in health related physical fitness. 
Procedure: 
1. Showing of the word “PHYSICAL FITNESS”. Then out from the given word the student are task to 
give their prior inputs or knowledge. 
2. Students are task to go to their groups. 
3. After which, student are task to do some activity(activities that are related in health related 
physical fitness) 
4. Giving of instructions on how to do the activity will follow. 
5. Clarification will follow. 
Process Question: 
1. What is physical fitness? 
2. What are the characteristics of a healthy person? 
3. How do you find the activity? 
4. Were you able to participate in the given activity? 
5. What is health related physical fitness?
6. What are the components belongs to health related physical fitness? 
ART EDUCATION VIII 
February 27, 2014 (THURSDAY) 
Activity: “Let us explore!!” 
Focus: DIVERSE ART AND CULTURE IN ASIA 
Strategy: group activity, Sharing 
Type: Individual and group 
Nature: Assessment 
Description: 
In this phase, the students demonstrate understanding by activating their prior knowledge in knowing 
some arts and culture in Asia through giving and sharing their appreciation. 
Procedure: 
1. Ask somebody to do the recapitulation (about what are the characteristics of Asian People and also their 
places). 
2. Showing some art in Asia. 
3. Students are task to share their observation about the art. 
4. After which, student are task to face their quadrant and in this activity the student are measure if they 
still remember the location of the arts by giving the country/place to associate the origin of the art. 
5. Clarification will follow. 
Process Question: 
1. How do you find the pictures? 
2. Were you able to share your observation to the class? 
3. How do you find the activity? 
4. Were you able to locate the given art? 
ART EDUCATION VIII 
February 28, 2014 (FRIDAY) 
Activity: “Let me know more!” 
Focus: ART IN JAPAN 
Strategy: group activity, Sharing 
Type: Individual and group 
Nature: pre-Assessment 
Description: 
In this phase, the students demonstrate understanding on activating their prior knowledge in knowing 
some arts in Japan through participating in group activity and class discussions. 
1. Ask somebody to do the recapitulation. 
2. Ask the student if they know the given picture (showing of flag in Japan). 
3. The student are given chance to share something about the country “Japan”(it could be their culture or 
the people). 
4. Clarification will follow. 
5. Discussion will follow.

1. Were you able to identify the flag? 
2. What country does it belong? 
3. Were you able to share something about the country? 
4. How do you find the art in Japan? 
5. Do they have the same art in our country?
