scale Integrating Project,
which examines how social
network tools amplify learn-
ing in the workplace. See

‘Knowledge maturing’ is a
new perspective on know-
ledge development in the
workplace. It looks at how
individual activities and
learning processes contribute
to overall progress of the
organisation, its innovative-
ness and agility. It unveils
barriers where this doesn’t
happen, and it shows ways to
overcome them using TEL.
Partnership for Impact in
2011
Ongoing UK support for
knowledge maturation in
Careers Guidance through an
approach to partnerships with
the University of Warwick.
In 2011, a member of the
Warwick team was invited to
attend No. 10 Downing Street
to contribute to high-level
policy discussions, facilitated
by the Cabinet Office, on the
role of TEL in Labour Market
Information. In November, a
member of LTRI was part of a
group to talk to the
Department of Business
Innovation and Skills (BIS).
The EC see TEL as central to
creating jobs and as indis-
pensable in contributing to
key societal challenges. LTRI
made the point to BIS that
TEL should be given the same
priority as motorways. See
