When it came to age, I again tried to spread the questionnaire across all ages
of my target audience. However, when I came to conducting my
questionnaire, it has shown that the majority of my results are from the
lower end of the target age range. This, therefore, means that my results my
be slightly affected because I haven’t spanned the full extent of my age
range.

I asked members of my target audience to decide which genre they thought
my magazine was. The results of this came back as very similar genres which
suggests my front cover does point in the right direction. However, because I
selected my target genre (Hardcore) as quite a small genre, it could come
under the larger genre of either Rock or Metal.
6. Does the Colour Scheme Suit?

Another question I asked was, does my colour scheme
reflect the genre and images I have used. The majority of
the answers were yes. This is not very surprising as I got
my colour scheme based off the results of my Audience
Research Questionnaire.
7. Contents Easy to Understand?

When I asked if my contents page was easy to
understand, all of the results came back as yes. I
am pleased with this result because the format of
my contents page challenged the common codes
and conventions of professional magazines.

I asked whether the DPS of my magazine looked
suitable and like a real magazine. The majority of
the results were yes. I think this is the case
because I tried to follow codes and conventions
of popular magazines with my Double Page
Spread.

Too Much Even Too Little
During my Audience Research questionnaire, I asked
whether people like more images or text in a double
page spread. When I was producing my DPS, I tried
to take into account the results from this
questionnaire. However, I feel that I have not got the
balance right as half those asked said I featured too
much text.
