The US is huge. 320 Million people. That's way bigger than any European country and on the scale of all
of Europe. And it's ethnically diverse, which matters. I doubt that you could find a country with 40 million
black people that has less crime than the 40 million black people living in the USA -- most are doing fine
and are good people, and the USA has indeed given them tremendous opportunity and equality. I doubt
that you could find a country with 60 million hispanics that has less crime than the 60 million hispanics
living in the USA -- most are doing fine and good people. And the USA has indeed provided tremendous
opportunity, although most of them come from places of relative equality already. And once you've
isolated demographics, you'll find that white people in the USA are comparably law-abiding even on
European scales -- not the best, but not the worst, either. We have, basically, a mixture of first world and
third world countries in the USA. first and third world cultures, first and third world people. The result is
that we have combinations of first and third world performance on crime and education.
