2. 1.Character
Leader is the capacity and will to rally
men and women to a common purpose and the
character which inspires confidence.
How a leader deals with the
circumstances of life tells you many things about
his character. Crisis doesn’t necessarily make
character, but certainly does reveal it. Every time
he chooses character, he becomes stronger, even
if that choice brings negative consequences
3. 2.Charisma
How can you have charisma?
Be more concerned about making
others feel good about themselves than
you are making them feel good about
you.
4. 3.Commitment
People do not follow
uncommitted leaders. Commitment can
be displayed in a full range of matters to
include the work hours you choose to
maintain, how you work to improve
your abilities, or what do for your fellow
workers at personal sacrifice.
5. 4.Communication
Developing excellent communication
skills is absolutely essential to effective
leadership. The leader must be able to
share knowledge and ideas to transmit
a sense of urgency and enthusiasm to
others. If a leader can’t get a message
across clearly and motivate others to
act on it, then having a message
doesn’t even matter.
6. 5.Competence
Competence goes beyond
words. It’s the leader’s ability
to say it, plan it, and do it in
such a way that the others
know that you know how-and
know that they want to follow
you.
7. 6.Courage
“Courage is contagious” ,
when a brave man takes a
stand, the spines of others are
stiffened”. A show of courage
by any person encourages
others. But a show of courage
by a leader inspires.
8. 7.Discernment
Smart leaders believe
only half of what they
hear. Discerning leaders
know which half to
believe.
9. 8.Focus
A leader who knows his’ priorities
but lacks concentration knows what
to do but never gets it done. If he
has concentration but no priorities,
he has excellence without progress
both, he has the potential to achieve
great things.
10. 9.Generosity
No person was ever
honored for what he
received. Honor has been the
reward for what he gave.
11. 10.Initiative
Success seems to be
connected with action. Successful
people keep moving they make
mistakes, but they don’t quit.
12. 11.Listening
A good leader encourages
followers to tell him what he
needs to know, not what he
wants to hear.
13. 12.Passion
If you, follow your passion-
instead of others perceptions-you can’t
help becoming a more dedicated,
productive person. And that increases your
ability to impact others. In the end your
passion will have more influence than your
personality.
14. 13.Positive Attitude
If you desire to an effective
leader, having a positive attitude is
essentials. It not only determines
your level of commitment as person,
but it is also has an impact on how
others interact with you.
15. 14.Problem Solving
People respond to
problems in these ways: they refuse
to accept them, they accept them
and then put up with them, or they
accept them and try to make things
better. Leader must always to be
.
16. 15.Relationship
Being a leader is more
than just wanting to lead.
Leaders have empathy for others
and a keen ability to the best in
people… not worst… by truly
caring for others.
17. 16.Responsibility
Success on any major scale
requires you to accept
responsibility…
In the final analysis, the one
quality that all successful
people have is the ability to
take on responsibility.
18. 17.Security
No man will make a
great leader who wants
to do it all himself or
get all the credit for
doing it.
19. 18.Self-discipline
To develop a lifestyle
of discipline, one of your first
task must be challenge and
eliminate any tendency to
make excuse.
20. 19.Servant hood
The true leader serves. Serves
people, serves their best interest, and in so
doing will not always be popular, may not
always impress. But because true leaders are
motivated by loving concern rather than a
desire for personal glory, they are willing to pay
the price.
21. 20.Teachability
Value your listening and
reading time at roughly ten
times your talking time. This will
assure you that you are on
course of continuous learning
and self-improvement.
22. 21.Vision
Although its true that your vision must
come from within, you shouldn’t let it be
confined by your limited capabilities. A truly
valuable vision must have GOD in it. He
knows your full capabilities, have your look
beyond yourself, even beyond your own
lifetime, as you’ve sought your vision? If not
you may be missing your true potential and
life’s best for you.
