Foundation id11_Flatlands Artist Residency in Delft. Joan Fabian lived and worked in Poptahof, a neighborhood of the town of Delft

2. Foundation id11 aspires to realize an artist residency and easy approachable presentation spaces for international artists in Delft The Netherlands, where experiment can thrive.

34. Painted empty bottles I collected during my stay. I used color markers and watercolor to decorate each one a different design.

35. There were bottles on the ledge in the living room and in the sunroom.

36. On the walls of the only room that had wall paper I painted my “Delft Ghosts”. they are painted like the ceramic wares the city of Delft is historically known for-blue/white designs.

57. A large dumpster was located outside the Building. Since residents were leaving, many threw their possessions away. In it, I found the chair, children’s books and the 1959 letter – all the things I used in my project.
