This document provides the schedule and requirements for Project 4 in ENGL 202 Introduction to Professional Writing. It lists the work to be completed each week from Weeks 7-9 for writing a piece for a client. Students will be split into teams and interview a faculty member from the University of Idaho to write both a short and long version profiling that person. Drafts will be workshopped in class and revised versions are due. The final deliverables for the project, including the written pieces, a self-evaluation, and group evaluation, are due by November 22nd. Students must verify their online submission is complete and works as the instructor will only grade the last submission. PROJECT 4 DELIVERABLES DUE 11:59 p.m. Sunday, 11/24. Submit your work to the
project 4 submission drop box as follows:
Self-Evaluation (how you think you did on the project; what challenges you had):
write directly in the submission box.
Deliverable 1: Research/profile and teaser.
Deliverable 2: Group evaluation.
To avoid a point penalty, verify your submission. Do not rely solely on BbLearn’s
confirmation that your work submitted. You need to check that your work submitted
correctly.
This means you need to go back to the drop box after submitting your work and 1) open
your document files, and 2) check that the URL you submitted will work by cutting and
pasting it into a browser. If one or more files didn’t submit correctly, upload all of them
again because I grade only the last submission.
