*Spartan education emphasized the development of physical body coupled with
discipline.
*Boys underwent exercises and activities that promoted bodily strenght.
*Girls stayed on their mother who taught them rudiment of housekeeping and
motherhood.
*Believe mind and body has a strong relationship.
History of Medieval Era
*Emperor Fredirick1 of Bologna in 1158 chartered the first
university
*The Saracens or the Arabs among the moors of Spain gave a
significant contribution in determining the direction of what
educational technology today, the aim of their education was
search for knowledge and application of scientific facts to
their daily lives.
*Their university and libraries were the models in the entire
Europe because they invented the printing press They also
originated the scientific method of teaching.

Renaissance
known as age of renaissance or reawakening.The period had tree main
lines of concern,the intellectual to which education belongs,the
aesthetic and scientific .Along the intellectual development, movements
like Humanisn,reformation,realism,Discipline and rationalism cintribution
to the development of educationla technology espcially along theories
and practices. Bacon Rabelias,Vives and mMilton advanced their own
idias about education: While Jhon Locke came out with his ideas about
nature of the child's mind at birth in TABULA RASA.Johaan amos
Comenius was recognize for developing the first picture known as orbis
pictus(The World in the picture).He was considered as instructional
technology development .Maria Montessori contributed her own ideas
about teaching which is the use of multi sensory materials for
teaching,which is still use Montissori schools of today.

His educational view were contained in a book titled EMILE,which
he authored.The aim of education was the preservation of the natural
goodness of the individual right,

This era saw the proliferation of computer schools internet cafes and computer
center to serve the escalating need of computer services.
-adopted the computerization of records intrance procedures and all other aspects
of administration and supervision.
Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI)
Create multi media presentation to make teaching and learning more interesting and effective.
-Educational organizations like INTEL and the UP NISMED build linkages with teacher education
Intitutions (TELs) in the training of key teachers in the integration of the INTEL teach to the
future and curriculum,review for pre service education .
-With the advent of computer peripherals,computer became more user friendly so people began
procuring set for personal as a well as for office and instructional use.With the mouse even a
new cmputer user could derict the progress of blinking indicator (called of cursor .The user
could now transfort instructions and information,start and stop program opeartion,find stored
data and perform other important tasts quikly and easily.

  • 3. History of ancient times *21st century man started to use pointed stick to insript sign and symbol. *Egyptians devised a system of picture writing called Hierolyphics(represent group of sound). *Scribes,group of men trained in art of writing ,came to be countrys chronicle of events.
  • 4. ANCIENT GREECE AND ATHENS *Spartan education emphasized the development of physical body coupled with discipline. *Boys underwent exercises and activities that promoted bodily strenght. *Girls stayed on their mother who taught them rudiment of housekeeping and motherhood. *Believe mind and body has a strong relationship.

History of Medieval Era *Emperor Fredirick1 of Bologna in 1158 chartered the first university *The Saracens or the Arabs among the moors of Spain gave a significant contribution in determining the direction of what educational technology today, the aim of their education was search for knowledge and application of scientific facts to their daily lives. *Their university and libraries were the models in the entire Europe because they invented the printing press They also originated the scientific method of teaching.

History during of Renaissance known as age of renaissance or reawakening.The period had tree main lines of concern,the intellectual to which education belongs,the aesthetic and scientific .Along the intellectual development, movements like Humanisn,reformation,realism,Discipline and rationalism cintribution to the development of educationla technology espcially along theories and practices. Bacon Rabelias,Vives and mMilton advanced their own idias about education: While Jhon Locke came out with his ideas about nature of the child's mind at birth in TABULA RASA.Johaan amos Comenius was recognize for developing the first picture known as orbis pictus(The World in the picture).He was considered as instructional technology development .Maria Montessori contributed her own ideas about teaching which is the use of multi sensory materials for teaching,which is still use Montissori schools of today.
  • 7. History of Age of Naturalism Jean Jacques Rousseu His educational view were contained in a book titled EMILE,which he authored.The aim of education was the preservation of the natural goodness of the individual right,
  • 8. FROEBEL was known FARTHER OF KINDERGARTIN -emphasized the use of actual objects,which caoul be manipulated by the learners. PEZTALLOZI Believing that teaching is moreEffective if it proceeds from concreate to abstract.
  • 9. History during Education movements in the 19th century JHON DEWEY -an american pragmantist,formulatd the scientif scientific theory of learning. EDWARD LEE THORNDIKE -Thorndike a connectionist advanced the three primary laws of learning.
  • 10. -Photograph was invented giving way to a movement called visual instruction.By 1920,visual media became widely accepted.Then came the publication if audio visual media text.In 1926,educational films were used as instructional media. In 1932 the first instructionaltelevision program was tired at the state university of lowa. B.f SKINNER -after war more developments in educational technology were seen like the use of programmed instruction by Skinner he taxonomy of taxonomy educational objectives by Bloom the u modularized. instruction.

History during Education in contemporary Times This era saw the proliferation of computer schools internet cafes and computer center to serve the escalating need of computer services. -adopted the computerization of records intrance procedures and all other aspects of administration and supervision. Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) Create multi media presentation to make teaching and learning more interesting and effective. -Educational organizations like INTEL and the UP NISMED build linkages with teacher education Intitutions (TELs) in the training of key teachers in the integration of the INTEL teach to the future and curriculum,review for pre service education . -With the advent of computer peripherals,computer became more user friendly so people began procuring set for personal as a well as for office and instructional use.With the mouse even a new cmputer user could derict the progress of blinking indicator (called of cursor .The user could now transfort instructions and information,start and stop program opeartion,find stored data and perform other important tasts quikly and easily.
