Awareness. Know what your kids are doing. Don’t be nervous because you know less than your child.You wouldn’t let your kid go into downtown Bangkok or out late in Tokyo all by themselves without guidance, why do we just give them their laptops without guidance.
Up until mid way through last year, I did not teach students about social media. Realistically they weren’t supposed to be using it. I didn’t use it much in my teaching. Then problems starting happening… sometimes very innocently. They didn’t know… And I thought, if I don’t teach them, who will?
