4. Activity:
Session 1: Up the garden path You have the task of building a
garden path.
Give them the mosaic pattern blocks and ask them to build a
path using the pattern blocks as cobblestones. All the
cobblestones must fit together without any gaps. Students are to
select 1 or 2 shapes to build their path. The path needs to have
at least 3 or 4 rows of blocks.
We need shapes, strips of paper!

• Another busy day. I was glad to continue our
poetry books underway, we are looking forward
to sharing these with Room 1 on Friday. Some of
us have started our individual inquires on
something starting with “C” I’m working on fine
tuning this process. All students worked hard. I
am going to try to upload the days PowerPoint to
the blog. Use it to see what your children are
doing and as a tool to get more than “nothing”
when you ask “what have you done at school
today?”. Hope it is of use I’m keen for any
feedback you might have!
