  1. NEEDS TO BE UNDER 4 MINUTES… HELP!!!Tethr is a business application that allows you and your team to create social footnotes on your projects to help you review and discuss changes that need to be made.
  2. It is a business social application that you can access from any internet connection and all content that you and your group add is saved on the internet, also known as the cloud. Because of this Tethr allows you to add footnotes to any part of your project and connect these “dots” to conversations with different members of your team. Business Social applications are among of the top 5 fastest growing business trends for start ups this coming year according to Gardner research. There is an saying that I really like that in business you should skate to where the puck is going, and business social is the new wave of applications for the future. So far, the market has many “collaboration” tools which allow many users to work on documents or files at the same time. Other applications out there enable you to communicate in real time and host meetings to discuss the projects; but these products have limitations. Many times the conversations are not recorded, or there are long email threads and spreadsheet files that make it hard for the customer to show the designer exactly what they want. Tethr is an applications that can fix this challenge. Using tethr is like pointing to the object and saying “this is what needs to be changed”.
  3. WHAT DO I EXPLAIN FOR THIS SLIDE?? HOW DOES THIS FIT IN??Many social products of today allow you to “friend or follow” people like facebook and twitter to discuss the project, but there are very few solutions that actually put the file at the center of the conversations so that everything discussed is in reference to a specific issue on the deliverable. By doing so, you can save time and money and make the project development and roadmap more predictable and have a better focus on the final result.
  4. For instance, take a marketing firm making a new logo for a company. In tethr, the creator is able to upload the image of the logo and the stakeholders are able to put “dots” on the image by just clicking the screen and dragging the dot to the right place. When a dot is put on the image, a conversation is started similar to a facebook post where everyone can communicate back and forth about changes that need to be made in regards to the dot. The conversations are recorded on the social storyboard so that at any time, you can look to see the conversation. Previous versions are saved with their tethr’s to show the progression and previous conversations. This allows Communication on updates and changes that need to be made are ridiculously simple and all in one location that you can access from any device that has internet.
  5. Tehtr allows you to step beyond project management tools. It records all of the suggestions and conversations online so that any members of the group can access them at any time. All versions of the document are saved on what I like to call the “storyboard” which tracks all updates to changes and versioning of the project. Unlike other social applications, tethr allows you to tie actions to the deliverables and final product. For example…
  6. Pretty much everyone who needs to review something can use Tethr. I listed a few market verticals that would be possible targets for the product But I’d like to highlight two, marketing professionals and discrete manufacturers. So lets look at the total available market for the discrete manufacturing market.
  7. This is a billion dollar market. Right now, manufacturing teams create project lists to help them determine the status and tasks associated with the project which is confusing and doesn’t provide a visual to link to the actual project. Not much innovation has been done to aid them in the last few years and the new generations are coming into the workplace that are used to using social as a way of communication. This business can extend into international markets. There are over 10 thousand Discrete manufactures worldwide over $50 million and if it is extended to general manufacturing the number grows even larger. This market is huge. And as you can see, because of the Monthly recurring revenue model, we don’t have expand very far to be huge.
