3. The in the jar looks like this.The vinegar reacted with the egg shell and removed it. There were bubbles and lots of foam. The egg also was larger.

4. Day 2The Egg looks like this.

5. Day3The egg was placed in colored distilled water .

6. The absorbed the colored distilled water and became very large. It increased in size.

7. Day 4After sitting in corn syrup all night, the egg looked like this.It deflated and all the colored distilled water went back into the jar.

8. Day 5We placed the egg in diet coke and this is what it looked like when we came back. There was very little diet coke left in the jar. The egg swelled up.

9. Last Day-Looking into the jar. Notice there is very little diet coke left.
