I'm about to reveal the truth about how I get top rankings with less effort than everyone
else... so pay close attention
Most people will lie about SEO and what works or they honestly really don't know... it's
really not that complicated especially when you have a few basic steps you can take to
be on your way to top rankings.
1 Find low competition keywords
The best way to do that is to analyze the top 10 places in Google... I don't give a crap
about what others say... if you want easy rankings you need to go after keywords that
have a weak top 10 in Google...
The best way to do this is by looking at 2 things – the page rank (anything 3 or less is
good), The number of links (specifically yahoo links) the easiest way to do this is by
using the SEOQuake plugin for Firefox – once installed activate it at the bottom right of
your browser and search for the term (without “ “s)
Next you want to generate the PR & link info automatically to do this search for the
keyword and select “request paramaters” which will be just above the top rankings.
How much traffic will I get? ...I'm sure you are wondering

The best estimator of traffic is use Googles search based keyword tool... although that is
only a rough estimate you can get a general idea how much traffic you will get.
2 The right domain name
If you really want to rank for a keyword, then buy a domain name with that actual
keyword at the start of the domain and make sure you buy a .com, .net or .org
...otherwise you if it's a specific page make sure your desired keyword is in the actual
page URL.
3 Create content around keywords
Quality content related to the keyword is really important, although I don't like to get
into specifics because I've recently had sales pages rank at #1 (with 9 million plus
results) for a term that the actual page content wasn't specifically optimized for.
But I did have the keyword as the title, in the description, in the url and toward the start
of the sales copy (go head and search for: article marketing secrets – and you'll see my
site pop up at the top)
Lesson learned... include the keyword in the URL, Title, Description & towards the start
of the content – then work on providing quality content that your visitors will spend time
reading (Google likes that).
If you want to take it a step further then you can include the main keyword you're
targeting in about 2 or 3% of the content and also include LSI keywords (keywords
closely related to that main keyword)

4 Minor Link Building
I see this happen over and over …you build a site then you instantly send tons of back
links toward the site. That doesn't look natural to Google!
What you simply want to do is get your site noticed by Google... you can do this a few
ways. Social bookmarking your site (at a few sites), submit your RSS feed (if you have
one) to RSS submission sites, Ping-ing your site (easiest) or buy getting a quality
backlink that sends constant traffic your way (such as an established site).
The key is to generate some constant small amounts of traffic for a month or so...
It's best to use your main keyword in the actual link such as:
<a href=”http://yourawesomesite.com”>your awesome keyword</a>
5 Authority Link Building
The best way to improve your rankings is by getting your site linked on authority sites,
you'll want to really get some powerful authority links after about a month or so (after
doing the previous steps – you may have 1 link already if you took that approach in the
previous step)
To do this we simply want to build up some authority links to an authority site that links
to our site! - sounds easy, it is!
You'll want to use a web 2.0 blog or another authority site that you can easily add
content to, for this I recommend blogger or a simple authority site without many extra

links (like many of them have). This will be your main site that passes tons of link juice
to your original site.
Next you'll want to use different web 2.0 blogs (or authority sites) to link to your main
authority site (blogger if you used that) that then links to your actual domain.
There are several of these sites online such as squidoo, wetpaint, hub pages, wordpress...
Remember to use your keyword in the anchor text as well (example above).
Repeat steps 4 and 5 periodically to improve and maintain your ranking
