is very important.
• Research must be done first of all to recognise the
common codes and conventions of the horror genre.
Through understanding these codes and conventions, a
professional looking horror film can be produced which
is easily recognizable as of horror genre due to it’s
codes and conventions.
• The technical analysis of the product (Cinematography,
Sound, Mise-en-scene, Editing) must represent horror
genre and be easily seen as horror by the viewer.
