public open spaces, East Asian cities use the streets as
their venue for public activity. Our streets are more than
just a movement route. The streets, though disorderly at a
glance, we can easily distinguish the dual hierarchy in it,
namely the Lebuh & the Lorong”

people, there exists a communal life which prosper within
the vague corners and alleyways.”
