2. This graph shows that out of the 20 people who I asked to answer this questionnaire, 20 out of 20 were
female. This limits my validity of the questionnaire as it was not a balanced gender. However this is because I
asked people in school and close friends who all were girls.
3. This graph shows the age of everyone who answered this questionnaire.
• 1 out of 20 = 25
•1 out of 20 = 16
•1 out of 20 = 21
• 3 out of 20 = 18
•17 out of 20 = 17
•I am glad everyone is 16 to 25 as it is within my target audience.
4. This graph represents peoples favourite magazines. It shows that;
•1 out of 20 like ‘OK’
•3 out of 20 like ‘Look’
•4 out of 20 like ‘More’
•1 out of 20 like ‘Take a break’
•3 out of 20 like ‘Heat’
•3 out of 20 like ‘Glamour’
5. This graph shows my results for what the people who filled in my questionnaire thought about the word
‘punk’. They described it using 3 words. This is the result.
•7 people used ‘Black
•8 people used ‘rock’
•2 people used ‘guitar’
•10 people used ‘dark’
•2 people used ‘funky’
•2 people used ‘colourful’
•8 people used ‘Hair’
•7 people used ‘music’
•2 people used ‘sex’
•2 people used ‘Drugs’
•4 people used ‘rock n’ roll’
•2 people used ‘purple’
6. This shows that the thing people most dislike about the magazines are the price. This is because 10 out
of 20 people (half) did not like the price of magazines. Also 9 out of 20 people disliked the
advertisements. Then 1 out of 20 said that they dislike celebrity weight issues.
7. This graph concludes that people are more likely to buy a magazine if it has a free gift in it. This is
because 13 out of 20 people said ‘yes’ they are more likely to buy the magazine. Than the 6 people who
said ‘no’ it wont change their mind about what magazine they want to take.
8. This graphs shows the price people are most likely willing to spend on a magazine. It shows
that 1 out of 20 people would spend up to £1, 1 out of 20 people would spend £2.50 and 1
out of 20 would spend £2.80. However 5 out of 20 people would spend up to £3.00 and 4 out
of 20 people would spend up to £4.00. More over the most common amount people would
spend is £2.00.
9. This graph shows that the most popular colour for a magazine is purple. Therefore I will have
purple in my final graph.
10. The most liked favourite content peace is horoscopes and music reviews. I would
use the horoscopes if I was not doing a horoscope as horoscopes would not fit into
my music magazine that I have chosen to do. Also some people who filled in the
questionnaire did not read music magazine but read gossip magazines. I did this to
make a more varied answered questionnaire, yet it lacks in helping me for my
music magazine.
11. This graph proves that the first thing people look at on a graph is the pictures. This is because 15
out of 20 people said that the first thing they look at on a contents page is the pictures. The
second top one was interviews, 2 out of 20 people said this is the first thing they look at. Also 1
out of 20 was for the interesting stories, subheadings and true stories.
12. This shows that when I make my magazine I will make sure it is issued every month as that is
the most often people buy magazines on my questionnaire.
13. The favourite thing about a magazine is celeb gossip. Also a free gift, I will make sure I include these
two most popular chooses in my magazine.
14. This graph shows that the most favoured band is ‘The Script’ with 7 out of 20 people all saying the
same band. Also ‘Cold play’ and ‘You me at six’ both for 3 out of 20. ‘Micheal Bubble, Jamie Cullum
and Biffy Clyro’ all got 2 out of 20. And ‘The wanted’ got 1 out of 20. This suggests that more
famous bands can created a wider target audience.
15. This graph suggests that all the bands that have been chosen are well known bands. Therefore if I
want to get more of my target audience to buy my magazine then I need to see who is the most liked
band in the area to interview. This is because ‘All time love’, ‘The script’ and’Kings of Leon’ all got 5
out of 20. Then the ‘Kings of Leon’ got 4 out of 20 and ‘Artic Monkeys’ got 1 out of 20.
