CAREER PATH
 Tumutukoy sa mga pagsasanay, pag-aaral,posisyon
o iba’t-ibang trabaho, at mga paghahanda na ating
pinagdaraanan upang matamo ang ating nais na
uri ng pamumuhay o career goal.
URI NG CAREER PATH :
 Ang steady state
ito ay ang career path na nangangailangan ng
panghabambuhay na pananatili sa isang trabaho lamang at
patuloy na paglago ng kaalaman at kasanayan sa karerang
ito. Ang larangan ng medisina, pagdedentista, pag-
iinhinyero, at pag-aabogado ay madalas na matukoy bilang
mga “steady state” na career path.
 Ang linear
ito ay nangangahulugan ng patuloy na pag-angat o pagtaas,
kung saan mayroon ding patuloy na pagtaas ng posisyon,
kapangyarihan, responsibilidad sa gawain ng ibang
manggagawa sa kumpanya at kinikita. Ang mga managers
at mga politiko ay karaniwang tumatahak sa linear na career
path.
 Ang transitory
ito ay nagpapakita ng madalas na pagbabago. Ang mga
sumusunod sa transitory career path ay karaniwang
naghahanap ng sari-saring karanasan at hindi nagpapatali sa
isang pinapasukan lamang. Hindi rin sila naghahangad ng
pag-angat sa posisyon o ng higit na malaking kikitain.
 Ang spiral
ito ay nangangahulugan ng regular na pagbabago, kadalasan
ay sa loob ng lima o pitong taon. Ang direksyon nito ay
madalas nagsisimula nang pahalang o lateral o pababa. Ang
isang business executive na nagpasyang magturo, ang
abogadong naging doktor ng medisina, o ang isang dentista
na muling nag-aral para maging nurse ay masasabing
tumatahak sa spiral career path.
