2. 2. Problem <ul><li>We knew that the area of a rectangle was l×w, but did you know you can find the area of a circle using a similar formula? </li></ul><ul><li>The area of a circle is πr 2 . </li></ul> Width Length 
3. 3. Process <ul><li>We cut 24 triangles out of a circle. We lined them up, trying to make a rectangle-like shape. </li></ul><ul><li>We reflected on the process by answering questions and figuring out how rectangles and circles are alike. </li></ul>
4. 4. Challenges <ul><li>Cutting out the pieces was a bit difficult because they had to be exact. </li></ul><ul><li>Some of the questions were hard to answer about the process. </li></ul><ul><li>It was challenging to find a link between the area of a rectangle, and the area of a circle. </li></ul>
