 What is it? 
 Performing heavy resistance training prior to 
explosive training. Think supersets. 
 Theory: increased motor unit excitability, 
increased motor unit recruitment, increased 
activity of synergistic muscles, inhibition of 
antagonistic muscles, etc. 
 Used as a training tool and used as a pre-meet 
tool (track and field)
