2. How detailed is my research?
• Before we started filming I carried out a lot of research into the codes and
conventions of the genre we were representing in order to portray an
accurate representation of our artists.
• Research into mise-en-scene, locations and editing techniques provided a
strong understanding of the genre rap.
• I captured screenshots of the rap artists website we were portraying, it was
very helpful to discover their clothing store online because our target
audience would most likely purchase their clothing. Therefore we followed
their clothing style which was casual wear and made our artists dress
similarly.

3. How successful was our planning?
• We planned each scene very well, the costumes and locations
were all prepared beforehand. However we had some issues
with the last scene at ‘Suicide bridge’, because it was filmed at
night. We decided we wanted the whole music video to be
filmed in daylight, so we re-filmed the scene at ‘Suicide bridge’
at the last minute.

4. My blogging
So far I have been very consistent in my blogging, I have tried to
blog at least one extra blog a week as evidence of further
research. Furthermore I try to focus on keeping my blogs detailed
instead of posting large quantities of blogs. Also in the future I will
try to use a variety of different technologies to present my work.
