transformation offers - and the risks it
poses if ignored.

efficiencies in internal operations, to the
development of new services that can

The biggest risk: organisations who
ignore this disruption will become
irrelevant within the next 5 years.

Delegating responsibility for digital
technology to a single team has
created a group of highly skilled
individuals, but who lack the mandate
to create real change.
Bottom-up leadership will not get us
there alone.

As a result, some digital leaders and
champions have become too focused on
tactical delivery.
Instead we need them to offer more
strategic guidance on how organisations
can use technology to dramatically
improve their impact.

Lack of trustee engagement and
buy-in around the opportunities
offered by digital technology is
becoming a very serious issue.
Education programmes are a must,
and new blood may be required.
