2. Working title
• The title for my magazine will be “Tunes”. Tunes is quite basic and
simple, which then is easy for the audience to remember. Tunes has
relation with music, and will then fit to name a music magazine.
Potential masthead:
3. Genre of music
• The genre of my magazine will be pop. Pop was the most popular
genre in my survey and in my interviews, so I will focus on my
audience and their relationship with the genre.
4. Cover price and issue frequency
• The price of the magazine will be £2.50, so it is an affordable price for everyone,
specially students since the average age for my magazine is 16-19.
• I will publish my magazine once a month, this because I saw at my survey that
people read music magazines monthly or less than that. I will locate the
magazines in all the well known supermarkets so that they can easily be found.
