2. TOURISM
STRATEGY
The future is bright for tourism in Sultan Kudarat. We aim to find
the perfect balance between environmental, social and economic
returns for the operators and industry. This is reflected through the
vision, goals, targets and actions of the strategy, which outline clear
plans to meet the challenges facing the industry.
First, the strategy will include advertising, marketing
channels, the internet and promotion. This includes what marketing
calls the 4P's (price, promotion, place and product/service)
Lastly, our feasibility study should include a "competitive advantage"
which is the positive marketing position that we should have against
our competition. In other words, it's something that offer and sell that
our customer can't offer and will make a profit for our business.
29. FESTIVAL
Kalimudan Festival
(November 21)
A cultural presentation highlighting the
socio-cultural and historical heritage of
the Manobos, Tirurays, T-
boli, Maguindanaoans and the Christian
tribes of the province. Conveyed through
dances and other natures, it expresses
festivities, solidarity, common aspiration
and innate desire for prosperity and
peace
32. A.) MARKET PLANNING
OBJECTIVES:
To select a tourist attraction in the
Province of Sultan Kudarat
To show the hidden beauty of Sultan
Kudarat
To promote the attraction we had
chosen
To enhance our abilities in conducting
this study
33. METHODS:
Have a feasibility study about the
said tourist attraction
Gather information
Analyze the data
Evaluate the facts
34. B.) TARGET MARKET
SELECTION
To develop a marketing plan by
studying the demographics of our
tourist destination. Demographics
are a population study that includes
age, race, and gender. We should
study the demographics to know
who we think will be our potential
customers and also a study of the
destination that our tourists will visit.
39. D.)CONCLUSION
1.) Why do you need to make Sultan Kudarat a tourist
destination?
Sultan Kudarat is known as a dangerous place to
other people particularly the ones who are living in
Luzon and in Visayas. This is because we are so
unlucky that what they have seen, heard or know
through media is not good about the place especially
when it comes to political issues. Sultan Kudarat
should be tourist spot because there are many
beautiful spots in it which are not yet fully
discovered. It is also one of the safest places to live
in. The people are also hospitably and very
accommodating.
40. 2.) What will be the benefits and who
will benefit?
If the Province of Sultan kudarat will be a tourist
destination there are factors which will be very
beneficial:
a) Popularity
b) Job employment
c) More improvements in place
d) More income
e) Less poverty
It is beneficial to its constituents, the people living
in it.
