Since 2002, Janet has served as a real estate broker working with new home residential
developer HomeLife Communities. There she worked directly with Company Executives to
convey daily reports of construction performance to upper management. Janet quickly
gained the reputation as a realtor that “Made things Happen” and closed 100% of her contracts while earning both
the salesman of the month and salesmen of the year awards. Janet closed millions in sales. After leaving HomeLife
Communities Janet joined the Remax franchise where she became a Full service Realtor working as both the seller
and buyer Broker. Janet’s knowledge of the business and commitment to excellence and professionalism allowed
her to put her expertise to work servicing both clients. After many years of gaining experience in Real Estate Janet
decided to launch Team Janet Team Janet Marie Realty, her own Real Estate Company in 2013. Janet was also
known for hosting Business Social Events, where business professionals would meet after hours to mingle and
network. Janet also host Homebuyer Workshops for many communities, where she would educate people of the
process of purchasing a new home. Janet’s proven negotiating skills allows her clients to feel that they have a
realtor that will work hard for them whether they are a first time home buyer or a well experience buyer of luxury
homes. Janet’s passion about working with her clients is obvious and she constantly strives for the best results for
her clients.
Janet enjoys change, fast pace, new activities a good challenge and competition, but most of all, “The Art of the
Deal”. She moves forcefully to get results while using direct action and an oriented approach to solving problems
and preventing them before they occur. Janet has always been able to convince others of her point a view and
those who know and work with her consider her negating skills to be one of her greatest attributes.
Janet is the founder and serves on the board as director for the Comprehensive Village Community Center in
York, South Carolina. She has assisted many high school students in achieving their goals of a college education.
Janet’s presentation to the City Council and Mayor to approve extended hours for the inner city youth to open a
city recreation complex proved to be successful. As a result of her presentation, Janet was awarded approval by
City Council and City mayor to extend the hours for the inner city youth recreational complex.
