ethical?

First of all, even though I am tempted to think that
my content is evergreen

Not all of my blog posts are evergreen
(let’s be honest here)

If I want to make sure that
my readers get up-to-date
information

I should go back
and
edit the posts quite often

That takes a lot of time
and effort to maintain the blog

Let’s say I discuss a SEO tip
or a strategy in my post

And let’s say the Google gods
roll out a new update

… which turns the tables
upside down

… and my SEO tip now becomes a no-no

A random reader who reads
the post after the major
search engine update
applies the strategy
I discussed in my
undated post.

And oops,
he gets slapped by Google.

So should I keep the dates
or remove them?
