This document contains over 100 "Shelfies", which are photos submitted by children showing their bookshelves and favorite books. Each Shelfie is labeled with the child's name and sometimes includes 1-3 sentences about their books or reading habits. Common books mentioned include Toy Story, Roald Dahl books, Star Wars books, and Dr. Seuss books. Many children are pictured holding or reading their favorite books.

We are the grandchildren of Mrs Vincent and we live in Brisbane. We heard of the Shelfie
Challenge through our “Nanno” who also sent us the books we are reading.

is “Tabby McTat” and my favourite chapter book about dogs is “A Dog called
Marley”.

I just chose some of the books I like best. I am reading one of my favourite picture books
“A Year on our Farm” in the photo. Our dog Buster’s favourite book is “Dinosaur” and
when we took this photo for my Shelfie he was trying to turn the page!

bedroom. Some of my favourite books are the Hairy Maclary, Dr Seuss and
Mr Men series.

As you can see, my Shelfie is so tall you need a ladder to get to the highest row of
books!!! My Shelfie was taken in the library at Parliament House in the city on Open
House day. I estimate that there were more than about 6000 books!!!

Here is my very special bookshelf! I love to read many books but one of my
favourites is "The Eleventh Hour" by Graeme Base (however it's not always
done at the top of my bookshelf)!

Sophie loves her books. She loves the book 'Sophie Bakes a Cake' her Grandma
gave to her on her first Christmas. She is really enjoying learning to read more.
