Making Dust (Sanding & Filing Body)
What I Did?
Today I have been doing the boring step, which is filing. It is complicated and easy to hate
because sometimes it makes the project more worse and sometimes it takes lots of time.
Lots of people hate it, like Diane needs to file a piece of square wood to a oval, a solid
oval. So i had to sand the head first some pieces for a few minutes. After then I started
using the flat head file to file the edges, which was hard, because it doesn’t get exactly
right and round, so I changed the way and made it much easier for filing and make it the
shape I want. So I put the block in the vice and I
filed my edge.
Today Mr. Anderson told us about the Wheel
cutter using the Pedestal drill. Even though I know
how to use it, I actually learned how to use it. So I
think I will be using it next class.
Lisa using Disk Sander, i have Me using the file filing my dog
used it just a bit for my Dog’s at the curve to make it smooth.

2. AOI/Learner Profile
This session AOI is going to be Human Ingenuity, because I have to think and concentrate
on my filing skills. I have to be very careful, otherwise I will keep filing bad and I will waste
more wood and destroy my project.
The Learner Profile for this session will be thinking, I had to think when smoothing the
curve, but at the end I still asked Mr. Anderson for help.
Emotion
Today my mood is kind of boring, because I haven’t done lots of things and it was boring
when filing. So I was really bored but it was fine.
Whatʼs Next
What I am going to do next class which is a single period I will finish off the filing for a few
minutes and start on my wheels. Probably I won’t finish my wheels because Sana is also
using it.
