HOW ARE VOLCANOES MADE? Volcanoes are made by magma within the earth’s mantle pushing it’s way to the surface.
NORTHWEST VOLCANOES The Ring of Fire is found along the Pacific.   The Ring of Fire is a border of volcanoes along the Pacific Ocean.  TIP :The red on the photo is the Ring of Fire. The Cascades are a section of volcanoes along the Pacific.  They go from British Columbia to Californa.
MT. HOOD Mt. Hood  is a  stratovolcano.  A  stratovolcano  is tall cone shaped volcano made of many layers of: hardened lava, rocks, pumice and volcanic ash.  It is the tallest mountain in Oregon.
