2. INTRODUCTION
Hello my name is Gavin Corso.
Today I`m going to tell you about the
Layers of the Earth, going from the
surface to the center. There is the
Continental crust, Oceanic crust, the
upper Mantle, lower Mantle, Outer
core, and finally, the Inner core.
3. THE CRUSTS
The Continental Crust
The Continental Crust is
made of Igneous, Sedimentary,
and Metamorphic rocks. It is also
what you and I stand on!
The Oceanic Crust
This crust is under the
ocean people swim in! It is made
of rich iron and magnesium and is
also beginning the lithosphere. Its
so dense.
4. UPPER MANTLE
• The Upper Mantle
The capacity is up
to 600 kilometers! It
contains magma, plates
and some igneous
rocks.
6. The Cores of the Earth
• Outer Core
The outer core is
made of liquid iron and
nickel. The length is a
amazing 2260
kilometers!
• Inner Core
Believe it or not the
inner core is actually
made of metal and iron!
Even though the
temperature is nearly
9500 degrees Celsius.
7. CONCLUSION
So there you have it! Those
are the layers of the earth. I
wonder, how did you like it?
It is really very interesting to
know that our earth is made
up of more than just dirt and
plant life.
