DepEd supports all education – related provisions in
the local and international laws, policies , agreements,
memoranda, orders, circulars, i.e. UN CEDAW, RA 7192,
Executive Order 348, RA 7192, RA 7877, and other
gender – responsive interventions initiated by the
department and by other government and non-
government entities;

DepEd will continue exerting its efforts and
resources to eliminate all forms of gender biases in the
curriculum, in the textbooks and instructional materials,
in the teachers classroom practices, programs and
projects;
DepEd shall anchor its GAD programs and activities on
educational issues and concerns which are research –
based, data-based and needs-based.
