The 9th INEX Workshop was held from December 13-15, 2010 in Huize Bergen, Vught, The Netherlands. Several tracks were discussed including ad hoc, book, data centric, interactive, and question answering tracks. Participants acknowledged the wonderful work that was done in all tracks. It was discussed that after 10 years it may be time to rethink the tasks for INEX to improve upon them and keep up with changes in search and information consumption. Great plans were made for the 10th INEX Workshop in 2011.
