3. My TPACK before
EDU 210:
Prior to my experience in EDU
210, my technological
knowledge and related skills
were minimal.

4. Most of my technology experience was in my previous
career in marketing so I was only familiar with programs
to support business needs. My only knowledge coming
into this course, related to technology for the
classroom, included a one day SmartBoard course and
how to make use of YouTube video clips or Google Docs.
5. The knowledge I did possess I felt I could incorporate
somewhat with the teaching of content, as I did use
some very basic technological skills in teaching in my
IPT. This ability to combine my TPACK was still very
limited, as can be seen by the slight overlap of my
previous technological knowledge with the other areas.
7. After completing this course I am much more confident
in my technological skills and how I can use these skills
to teach more effectively. I feel that many of the tools
explored throughout this course will impact my
teaching, using practical applications such as
Edmodo, Glogster, Animoto, and others to enhance
student learning. There are huge benefits for students in
using many of these tools, helping individualize their
learning experience, while keeping the classroom
experience relevant for today’s students (most, if not
all, of which are digital natives).
8. Prezi is a tool I can see myself
using often as a presentation tool
for students, as well as for
student use when sharing
information
Animoto is a great option for delivering
lesson content to students in a unique way.
It’s also a great way to showcase student
work to parents, as well as other members
of the education community
Storyjumper offers a lot in terms of
student use, in both creation of stories
as well as sharing their work. The
benefit for myself as a teacher lies in the
ability for me to review student work on
their interface
